From Nepal, For United: The Journey of MUSCN

Manchester United Supporters' Club Nepal has always been about more than watching football.

It is about bringing people together.

It is about friendships formed on matchdays, supporters celebrating unforgettable moments together, football being played between fellow fans, and a community in Nepal sharing one passion for Manchester United.

Since becoming an officially recognized Manchester United Supporters' Club in 2016, MUSCN has continued to build a home for Red Devils across Nepal.

The Beginning of an Official Journey

The year 2016 marked an important chapter for Manchester United supporters in Nepal when MUSCN received official recognition as a Manchester United Supporters' Club.

For a growing community of United fans in Nepal, this recognition represented something bigger than a title. It gave supporters an identity and a common platform where their shared passion for the club could grow.

From there, MUSCN began developing a stronger supporter community through match screenings, football activities, gatherings, social initiatives and collaborations.

Bringing Supporters Together

One of the most important parts of the MUSCN journey has always been creating opportunities for supporters to meet each other.

Live match screenings became a regular gathering point for fans.

Whether it was a Premier League fixture, a derby or another important Manchester United match, supporters could experience the atmosphere together rather than watching alone.

Over the years, screenings for fixtures against clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City, Brighton and Southampton became part of the community calendar.

For many supporters, these evenings became more than football screenings. They became opportunities to meet fellow United fans, build friendships and become part of a larger family.

The Football Fans Festival

In 2018, MUSCN helped organize the Football Fans Festival in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.

The event brought together football supporters through a mix of entertainment, competition and community activities.

The festival featured FIFA gaming, football quizzes, bingo, charity activities and a blood donation program.

Events like this reflected an important part of the MUSCN identity. Supporting Manchester United could also become a way to create positive experiences within the wider football community in Nepal.

Football Beyond the Screen

MUSCN's activities have never been limited to watching matches.

Football itself has remained an important way of strengthening the supporter community.

The Prabhu Pay Devils Cup in 2021 was one of the events that brought supporters onto the pitch. Regular supporter futsal sessions also gave members opportunities to play together and connect outside matchdays.

These football activities helped create another side of the community where supporters were not only cheering for United but also representing the club's spirit on the pitch themselves.

In more recent years, MUSCN has also participated in inter-supporters-club competitions such as the ERN Supporters League, competing with supporter groups representing other major football clubs in Nepal.

Supporting the Community

Community work has also played an important role in the MUSCN story.

From blood donation activities to charity initiatives and support for people within the community, MUSCN has used football as a platform to contribute beyond the game.

The supporters' club has also been part of wider collaborations among football fan communities in Nepal.

These activities reflect a simple idea that has remained important throughout the journey: supporting a football club can also mean supporting the community around you.

A Growing United Family

As the years have passed, MUSCN has continued to bring Manchester United supporters together through screenings, football tournaments, fan gatherings, social activities and community initiatives.

Some events are large. Others are simply a group of supporters meeting on a weekend to watch United play.

Both are equally important to the story.

Each gathering adds another chapter to a community built around a shared love for Manchester United.

What started as a group of passionate supporters has grown into a recognizable United community in Nepal, connecting fans from different backgrounds through football.

The Journey Continues

The history of MUSCN is still being written.

New supporters continue to discover the community. New friendships are formed during match screenings. New events bring fans together, and new generations of Red Devils become part of the journey.

The goal remains simple: to create a place where Manchester United supporters in Nepal can connect, celebrate, contribute and support the club together.

One club. One passion. One United family.

From Nepal, for United.
