Supporting Manchester United may be what brings MUSCN members together, but the community has never needed to stop at football. Over the years, supporters in Nepal have also used their shared platform to contribute to causes beyond the game.
For many supporters, following Manchester United begins in front of a television. For MUSCN, it did not stay there. Over the years, football itself has become an important part of the supporters' club experience. Supporters who normally stood beside each other watching United began stepping onto the pitch together.
Manchester United Supporters' Club Nepal has created countless memories since becoming an officially recognized supporters' club in 2016. Some came from packed match screenings. Others happened on football pitches, at community events, or simply through supporters meeting people who shared the same passion.
Manchester United Supporters' Club Nepal has always been about more than watching football. It is about bringing people together. It is about friendships formed on matchdays, supporters celebrating unforgettable moments together, football being played between fellow fans, and a community in Nepal sharing one passion for Manchester United.
Football fandom is at its best when it brings people together. On 3 February 2018, Manchester United Supporters' Club Nepal helped create exactly that kind of experience with the Football Fans Festival in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.
Manchester United Supporters' Club - Nepal (MUSCN) has been granted an official status by Manchester United on September 16, 2016. Manchester United itself congratulated MUSCN and all Nepali supporters on its social media on September 18 for being officially recognized as a part of Manchester United.
