Football fandom is at its best when it brings people together.
On 3 February 2018, Manchester United Supporters' Club Nepal helped create exactly that kind of experience with the Football Fans Festival in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.

But this was not simply another match screening.
The program included FIFA gaming, football quizzes, bingo, charity activities and blood donation. (Goal Nepal)
Each activity offered supporters a different way to participate.
Some came to test their football knowledge. Some competed virtually. Others came to meet fellow fans. And through blood donation and charity activities, the gathering also created an opportunity to contribute to the community.
That combination made the Football Fans Festival memorable.
It demonstrated that supporter culture could extend well beyond ninety minutes of football.
For MUSCN, events like this helped establish the supporters' club as a place where people could connect not only because they supported Manchester United, but because they enjoyed being part of a football community.
The festival also arrived during an important period for supporter culture in Nepal.
